Bay Area Recovery Center – Women’s Drug & Alcohol Rehab

About Our Women’s Only Inpatient Rehab in Houston, TX

Bay Area Recovery Center was founded by men and women who have also struggled with addiction. We know how difficult it can be to fight the uphill battle of alcoholism and drug addiction. We also know how important it is to give every patient every opportunity to find this freedom, while in our inpatient rehab.

This is why we created a women’s only facility. This gives women the atmosphere, safety, and focus they need while in an inpatient rehab.  Our programs are also designed specifically for women and their specific needs.

Our women’s only rehab is conveniently located in close proximity to Houston, Pearland, Friendswood, Kemah, Seabrook, Bacliff, Texas City, Clear Lake and surrounding areas.

Our facility is a freestanding, medically-based detox program in Houston, TX that is overseen by our staff physician. It is conducted in a safe, therapeutic environment where your well-being is assured.

Our centers include private residences that are clean, modern, and comfortable with lush, well-kept grounds. There is an overall feeling of peacefulness and harmony in this environment that contributes to the success of our program. We help you to feel connected and safe throughout the detox process and we help transition you to the next phase of your substance abuse treatment program.

Residential Inpatient

Clients at our inpatient facilities are provided with comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment in a relaxing, supportive community environment. We have created a home-like atmosphere — a place where you’ll feel comfortable so you can focus on the task at hand. Residential treatment services are offered for adults, ages 18 and up.

Inpatient programs are especially effective for people whose substance abuse has adversely affected relationships with family and friends, and has impacted work and lifestyle. Residential settings provide clients with 24-hour-a-day support in a comfortable and less restrictive environment than hospitals can offer.

At our inpatient facilities individuals are completely removed from the surroundings in which the addiction thrived, and free of many of the external pressures that contribute to addiction. Clients enjoy a supportive atmosphere in which their sole focus is getting better. The supervision and structure during treatment reduces the chances that they will use any substances while in our program.

Outpatient Treatment Programs

Bay Area Recovery Center is a top-rated outpatient drug rehabilitation center in and around the Houston metro area. We offer effective addiction treatment programs in-person and online. We have locations across north, south, west and east Houston. Call today to get started.

Our online and in-person outpatient programs combine 12 step philosophy with advanced clinical techniques that have been proven to treat alcohol and drug addiction effectively.

Drug Addiction Interventionist Services

Helping a loved one who is battling any addiction is difficult. A direct, honest discussion is sometimes all they need to kickstart their journey to recovery.

The goal of an intervention for drug and alcohol addicts is to help them recognize the reality and extent of their addiction so that they realize it is a problem for the ones they love, and eventually convincing them to get treatment. It is an opportunity for friends and family to do something constructive for the addict, rather than being helpless, passive, or enabling the individual’s addiction.

With the help of drug intervention specialists at Bay Area Recovery, your loved one will have a team of professionals who will offer constant support on their path to sobriety.

Types of Therapy & Treatment For Women

We hold a variety of different therapy and group counseling for women that aims to enrich and empower with tools to help self-manage and make smart choices. Sessions are held in a group setting, where residents participate in group counseling to work on anger management skills, sharpen life skills, and learn about relapse prevention and signs that someone might be in danger of relapse.

Adult and young women attend chemical dependency education classes, learn how to identify and cope with denial and delusion, increase communication skills and honesty, and find out the effects that addiction has on their family.

This Recovery Center is by far the best Recovery place I have ever been, they you about the illness of alcoholism and the solution of the Program of Alcoholics Anonymous in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous. As long as your willing, open minded, and honest. You can get what they have of a spiritual awakening/experience. Everyone that works there has been through the house and knows the struggles you are going through and you will be able to relate with you. There is no judgement.

This place is probably the most important place I've ever had the fortune to visit. When I showed up here a year ago, I was bitter, selfish and a shadow of who I thought I was. If you or a loved one needs or wants to make a change, I can't recommend it more. The system they have here and the groups can genuinely help, even if you aren't fully willing, the messages will stick and make a new start possible.

I checked in Bay Area Recovery in May 2023, I went into House 3 for inpatient help with alcohol and drug addiction. What I found at Bay Area is a warm and loving group of people that really care about the clients. It's a family I never knew I had. These people rolled out the red carpet for me and made me feel at home. They showed me how to get sober with the 12-steps of AA and gave me the necessary tools to stay sober, taught me a new way of life. I am eternally grateful to Bay Area Recovery and the staff. If anyone needs help this is the place to be. Everyone at Bay Area has been through this program and completely understands. Thanks for everything.Kyle Johnson
