Bay Area Recovery Center – Women’s Drug & Alcohol Rehab

Women’s Only Inpatient Rehab in Houston, TX

Bay Area Recovery Center was founded by men and women who have also struggled with addiction. We know how difficult it can be to fight the uphill battle of alcoholism and drug addiction. We also know how important it is to give every patient every opportunity to find this freedom, while in our inpatient rehab.

This is why we created a women’s only facility. This gives women the atmosphere, safety, and focus they need while in an inpatient rehab.  Our programs are also designed specifically for women and their specific needs.

Our women’s only rehab is conveniently located in close proximity to Houston, Pearland, Friendswood, Kemah, Seabrook, Bacliff, Texas City, Clear Lake and surrounding areas.

Therapy & Treatment For Women

We hold a variety of different therapy and group counseling for women that aims to enrich and empower with tools to help self-manage and make smart choices. Sessions are held in a group setting, where residents participate in group counseling to work on anger management skills, sharpen life skills, and learn about relapse prevention and signs that someone might be in danger of relapse.

Adult and young women attend chemical dependency education classes, learn how to identify and cope with denial and delusion, increase communication skills and honesty, and find out the effects that addiction has on their family.

Disclaimer: DO NOT waste your time here UNLESS you are SERIOUS about RECOVERING from DRUG & ALCOHOL use and abuse. Bay Area Recovery Center (BARC) is a topnotch facility, program & staff for those who are ready to confront and recover from their addictions to drugs and/or alcohol.BARC is designed to provide onsite and follow up regiments that work if you work them. Cost friendly, BARC accepts most insurances, ask for Billy when you call.Speaking from experience, I highly recommend BARC for anyone, regardless of addiction issue or background. This Recovery Center is by far the best Recovery place I have ever been, they you about the illness of alcoholism and the solution of the Program of Alcoholics Anonymous in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous. As long as your willing, open minded, and honest. You can get what they have of a spiritual awakening/experience. Everyone that works there has been through the house and knows the struggles you are going through and you will be able to relate with you. There is no judgement.

This place is probably the most important place I've ever had the fortune to visit. When I showed up here a year ago, I was bitter, selfish and a shadow of who I thought I was. If you or a loved one needs or wants to make a change, I can't recommend it more. The system they have here and the groups can genuinely help, even if you aren't fully willing, the messages will stick and make a new start possible.

I checked in Bay Area Recovery in May 2023, I went into House 3 for inpatient help with alcohol and drug addiction. What I found at Bay Area is a warm and loving group of people that really care about the clients. It's a family I never knew I had. These people rolled out the red carpet for me and made me feel at home. They showed me how to get sober with the 12-steps of AA and gave me the necessary tools to stay sober, taught me a new way of life. I am eternally grateful to Bay Area Recovery and the staff. If anyone needs help this is the place to be. Everyone at Bay Area has been through this program and completely understands. Thanks for everything.Kyle Johnson
