Detox

Our detox program is a medically-based detox program, which is overseen by our staff physician and medical staff. All detox programs are conducted in a safe and therapeutic environment, where your safety is our priority.

Following an initial medical evaluation with our physician, a detox stabilization plan is established, and appropriate medications are prescribed to facilitate a safe and gradual detoxification process. We understand the significance of a gentle transition during the removal of physical dependence on substances. Throughout this stage of care, clients are under close supervision, and their symptoms are monitored regularly to ensure their safety and comfort.

Set amidst serene surroundings, our facility and residences offer modern amenities for your comfort. Our primary focus is to provide you with the support and guidance necessary for a successful transition to the next phase of your substance abuse treatment program.

Read more about our detox program here or individual substances below.

Residential Inpatient

Our inpatient programs offer comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment within a nurturing community environment. We’ve crafted a home-like atmosphere where you will feel at ease, allowing you to focus on treatment. Our residential treatment services cater to adults aged 18 and above.

Our residential settings offer round-the-clock support in a comfortable, less restrictive setting compared to hospitals.

Within our inpatient facilities, clients are distanced from the environments that supported their addiction, providing a reprieve from these pressures.

Here, the focus is on recovery, and a supportive atmosphere for healing.

Our inpatient programs include:

  • 30 Day Residential
  • 60 Day Residential
  • 90 Day Residential
  • Partial Day Residential Programs
  • Medically Assisted Detoxification

Drug Addiction Interventionist Services

Helping a loved one who is battling any addiction is difficult. A direct, honest discussion is sometimes all they need to kickstart their journey to recovery.

The goal of an intervention for drug and alcohol addicts is to help them recognize the reality and extent of their addiction so that they realize it is a problem for the ones they love, and eventually convincing them to get treatment. It is an opportunity for friends and family to do something constructive for the addict, rather than being helpless, passive, or enabling the individual’s addiction.

With the help of drug intervention specialists at Bay Area Recovery, your loved one will have a team of professionals who will offer constant support on their path to sobriety.

Why Are Our Outpatient Programs So Effective?

We recognize addiction as a illness, not everyone who walks through our doors are an alcoholic or addict.  Our programs take a holistic approach to addiction and substance abuse, giving you the skills you need to live a healthy, sober life. We treat the whole person and not the symptom.  Outpatient is a integral part of treatment for clients transitioning out of an inpatient level of care as they go back to day to day life.  Outpatient is also very effective for people whose substance use does not require detoxification or 24hr inpatient care.

Experienced Substance Abuse Counselors

All of our counselors at our rehab centers in Houston have been in inpatient or outpatient programs. Due to this first hand experience, they can provide better counseling and guidance because they’ve been there too. Also, our therapists and counselors have decades of professional experience, highly educated in addiction counseling and all are licensed by the State of Texas.

This Recovery Center is by far the best Recovery place I have ever been, they you about the illness of alcoholism and the solution of the Program of Alcoholics Anonymous in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous. As long as your willing, open minded, and honest. You can get what they have of a spiritual awakening/experience. Everyone that works there has been through the house and knows the struggles you are going through and you will be able to relate with you. There is no judgement.

This place is probably the most important place I've ever had the fortune to visit. When I showed up here a year ago, I was bitter, selfish and a shadow of who I thought I was. If you or a loved one needs or wants to make a change, I can't recommend it more. The system they have here and the groups can genuinely help, even if you aren't fully willing, the messages will stick and make a new start possible.

I checked in Bay Area Recovery in May 2023, I went into House 3 for inpatient help with alcohol and drug addiction. What I found at Bay Area is a warm and loving group of people that really care about the clients. It's a family I never knew I had. These people rolled out the red carpet for me and made me feel at home. They showed me how to get sober with the 12-steps of AA and gave me the necessary tools to stay sober, taught me a new way of life. I am eternally grateful to Bay Area Recovery and the staff. If anyone needs help this is the place to be. Everyone at Bay Area has been through this program and completely understands. Thanks for everything.Kyle Johnson
