Women’s Inpatient Drug Rehab in Dickinson, TX

Inpatient Addiction Treatment Services For Women

BARC drug rehab centers in Houston were founded by men and women who also struggled with addiction. We have first hand experience, and we understand how difficult it can be to fight the uphill battle of alcoholism and drug addiction as a women.

We also know how important it is to give every patient every opportunity to find this freedom, while in our inpatient rehab.

Women Only Facility

This is why we created a facility for women only. This gives our female clients the atmosphere, safety, and focus they need to focus on recovery, without the distractions of a traditional rehab with both genders.

A Rehab Designed For Women

Our women only rehab programs are held in both individual and group settings. Clients participate in programs for addiction treatment, anger management skills, life skills, including education on relapse prevention.

Our chemical dependency classes teach women how to identify and cope with denial and delusion, increase communication skills and honesty, and help them realize the effects addiction has on their family.

How Long Do Residential Rehab Programs Last?

Studies show longer stays in residential rehab are correlated to less relapse and a much higher chance of obtaining sobriety for life. When the rehab is gender specific, the numbers increase in favor of the client, with even more effective results.

Our rehab will last anywhere from 30 to 60 and 90 days, but sometimes longer, depending on the situation. Other factors to take into consideration are going to be individual needs, treatment needed, counseling, and insurance.

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) studies have shown longer stays of at least 90 days are effective for some of the most serious addictions.

How Our Women Only Rehab Works

  • Address issues specific to Women,  while working with other women.
  • Women are more likely to be more honest, and free when in counseling, group sessions and other programs.
  • Clients are more responsive to addiction treatment, when they are bonding with other women.
  • Distractions found in a coed facility are avoided, which is often one of the biggest causes of relapses.

Drug & Alchol Detox Designed For Women

Women in need of detoxification will start with our medical detox program before they begin residential treatment.

We understand the nuances men and women face when they detox from an addictive substance, and that is why our detox professionals pay close attention to every client and their specific needs.

Every detox begins with an initial medical evaluation, where a qualified physician will create a stabilization plan, which includes medications for a safe and gradual detox.

Our detox plans are curated to produce a gentle transition from physical reliance to abstinence.

Throughout this stage, our clients are under close supervision, and their symptoms are monitored regularly. Safety and comfort are our ultimate goal with every detox plan.

Our facilities have peaceful surroundings, and include modern amenities for our patients comfort. Our focus is to provide all patients with the support and guidance needed to transition from detox to the next phase of their addiction treatment program.

Disclaimer: DO NOT waste your time here UNLESS you are SERIOUS about RECOVERING from DRUG & ALCOHOL use and abuse. Bay Area Recovery Center (BARC) is a topnotch facility, program & staff for those who are ready to confront and recover from their addictions to drugs and/or alcohol.

BARC is designed to provide onsite and follow up regiments that work if you work them. Cost friendly, BARC accepts most insurances, ask for Billy when you call.

Speaking from experience, I highly recommend BARC for anyone, regardless of addiction issue or background. They will help you reclaim your life!

This Recovery Center is by far the best Recovery place I have ever been, they you about the illness of alcoholism and the solution of the Program of Alcoholics Anonymous in the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous. As long as your willing, open minded, and honest. You can get what they have of a spiritual awakening/experience. Everyone that works there has been through the house and knows the struggles you are going through and you will be able to relate with you. There is no judgement.

This place is probably the most important place I've ever had the fortune to visit. When I showed up here a year ago, I was bitter, selfish and a shadow of who I thought I was. If you or a loved one needs or wants to make a change, I can't recommend it more. The system they have here and the groups can genuinely help, even if you aren't fully willing, the messages will stick and make a new start possible.

I checked in Bay Area Recovery in May 2023, I went into House 3 for inpatient help with alcohol and drug addiction. What I found at Bay Area is a warm and loving group of people that really care about the clients. It's a family I never knew I had. These people rolled out the red carpet for me and made me feel at home. They showed me how to get sober with the 12-steps of AA and gave me the necessary tools to stay sober, taught me a new way of life. I am eternally grateful to Bay Area Recovery and the staff.
If anyone needs help this is the place to be. Everyone at Bay Area has been through this program and completely understands.
Thanks for everything.
