Following an initial medical evaluation with our physician, a detox stabilization plan is established, and appropriate medications are prescribed to facilitate a safe and gradual detox. We understand the significance of a gentle transition during the removal of physical dependence from substances. At our inpatient facility, we provide separate housing for men and women, offering multi-day residential addiction treatment programs tailored to each individual’s needs.

In our inpatient setting, clients receive 24/7 support in a comfortable environment, different from a hospital setting. These services are available for adults aged 18 and above.

Our residential programs deliver comprehensive drug and alcohol treatment within a supportive community atmosphere. By removing individuals from environments that foster addiction, we significantly reduce opportunities for substance abuse during their stay.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment Programs

We provide Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Supportive Outpatient Programs (SOP) both virtually and in-person.

IOP Services: 10 hrs per week

• 9 hours of group counseling per week
• 1 hour of individual counseling per week

SOP Services: 13 hrs per month

• 3 hours of group counseling per week
• 1 hour of individual counseling per month

We offer group sessions throughout the weekdays from 6pm to 9pm along with daily individual counseling sessions. Patients spend time in engaging interactive groups and receive ongoing support throughout the outpatient programs.  Our offerings include:

Virtual Outpatient (IOP & SOP) Counseling

The introduction of COVID forced us to make changes in the way we deliver our treatment. Allowing clients to attend group and individual counseling sessions from the comfort and safety of their home or anywhere internet access is available.

Our online IOP & SOP outpatient treatment at the Houston / Clear Lake rehab center also allows clients access to counseling services if they are traveling, vacationing or working out of town.

Benefits to Virtual Outpatient Counseling:

Safety:  Our virtual outpatient programs are a great option for people with compromised immune systems or physical limitations.  Online counseling can also benefit those with social anxieties, panic disorders or generalized anxiety disorder. All our locations are ADA compliant, however, virtual counseling gives access to those who may be homebound and offers more options for those with physical disabilities.

Remote Area Access:  Virtual counseling provides access to people who live in remote areas with little or no mental health services.  Traveling long distances to seek in-person treatment can add greater stress on those in need of help.  If someone has internet access, we can provide online treatment options that may not be available otherwise.

Convenience:  Our virtual counseling can be coupled with in-person counseling. This allows clients to attend in-person and remotely within the same week.  We understand life gets busy and we can’t be multiple places at once.

Types of Drug & Alcohol Screenings Available at BARC

1. Urine Dip Test with Six Panels. Results are observable with a few minutes of administering the test. The results indicate a presence/absence for THC (Marijuana), OxyContin, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine, Methamphetamines (Meth), and Opiates.
2. Off-site Urinalysis. An off-site lab is utilized to analyze urine for the presence and concentration of an array of prescription medications, illegal drugs, and alcohol. Urinalysis results include a toxicity report and will indicate the presence of masking agents, dilution, and other impurities that indicate tampering or contamination.
3. On-Site Breathalyzer Screening. Breathalyzer results include the presence and concentration of alcohol. Results are observable immediately.
