Where can I send a family member for a drug detox in Houston?

Bay Area Recovery Center offers alcohol and drug detox in Houston, Clear Lake, and Galveston. Its team of psychologists, counselors, and medical doctors has helped patients overcome addictions since 1992.

Concerned family members interested in submitting a loved one for a drug detoxification and/or counseling should contact BARC’s office directly. From there, a knowledgeable team member will help coordinate an intervention (if necessary) and explain the steps needed for a patient to enter treatment. Programs can last as little as a few days or take up to several months, often depending on the severity of the addiction and the individual’s unique circumstances.

HOW WILL I KNOW A DRUG DETOX IN HOUSTON WILL WORK FOR MY FAMILY?

Drug and alcohol rehab centers never fully guarantee whether or not a program will work. This is often due to the fact that getting help and staying sober is a very personal choice that is affected by a large number of factors. However, once a patient has undergone rehabilitation through a certified program, the chance of relapsing is lessened greatly throughout the rest of their lives.

At Bay Area Recovery Center, patients are given lifelong tools to help beat drug and alcohol addiction. They are taught the “allergic” nature of drugs and alcohol and how this affects the overall mind, body, and spirit. In addition, an alumni program, after care services, and connections to local sobriety groups allow Bay Area Recovery Center patients to maintain their newly found freedom from addiction long after they leave the center.

WHAT IS NEEDED FOR A SUCCESSFUL DRUG DETOX PROGRAM IN HOUSTON?

While there are many centers that offer alcohol and drug rehab in Texas, not every program will be successful for every patient. The key to finding a center that has a higher chance of changing an addict’s life is by looking for one that integrates counseling and psychology. Chemical dependency is not only a physical disorder. There are many underlying mental health concerns, such as depression and anxiety, that go along with the drinking and drugs.

Bay Area Recovery Center feels that eliminating addiction is a lifelong mental battle in addition to a physical one. BARC’s unique team is comprised of medical experts, counselors, and psychologists to help patients overcome their addictions. An alumni program and after care is also available to help patients long after they have completed treatment.

Services available from Bay Area Recovery Center include inpatient care, outpatient care, detoxification, partial hospitalization (PHP) care, interventions, and much more. Please contact Bay Area Recover Center today for more information about programs or learn how to orchestrate an intervention for a loved one.
