Bay Area Recovery Center is, in my opinion, a house of "miracles" I checked into BARC in January 2009 and felt I was beyond hope. My addiction to painkillers had lead me to financial disaster, legal problems & family problems. I was physically, emotionally & spiritually bankrupt.
This program and these people, and by the grace of God showed me a new way to live. 6 months later, I'm a happy, effective human being again, basically someone you might want to know, as opposed to someone you would avoid. I have these people and God to thank. I highly recommend this program to anyone suffereing from alcohol or drug addiction.
By the way, I met the young man in this video, who like many BARC alumni continue to comeback and support the program. He looks great and is 100% sober.
